A MUST SEE : LUCID STEAD

This past weekend we had the opportunity to experience Lucid Stead, the highly anticipated art installation by Phillip K Smith III. Located out in the middle of the Joshua Tree desert, in it’s last weekend for viewing, you do not want to miss this.
Lucid Stead is fantastic. It’s everything that we know and love about the desert: silence, space, self-reflection, old, sexy, sleek, withered, recycled, brand new, colorful and subtle all the same time. It’s a self reflective piece, both symbolically and literally. Walking away from the installation leaves you feeling ‘zen’ed out. The journey of traveling to out to middle of nowhere lets you breath deeper, stretch longer, and think clearer.
However, this all could mean nothing to you if you haven’t had the chance to experience it. Right?!? This weekend is your last chance to do so and we really encourage you to find the time.
