Love me some Otis, but no ... 70's ... here's a hint ...

It's on the soundtrack to a cheesy let's call it 'urban' flick from mid-70's, and the name of the movie was also the name of a big hit song from the soundtrack (though the big hit is sung mainly by someone the opposite gender from this song ... this song is by the same band, who had both M+F lead singers ... also, the band name sounds more like it'd be person's name).

But this one was definitely on the radio as well back then.
