Great B-Sides

For those of us who remember vinyl 45s, what are some of your favorite B-Sides (you know, the song that wasn't supposed to be a hit)? A lot of good music on the flip side.

One of many: Kiss Me, Baby (Beach Boys, B-side of "Help Me, Rhonda," 1965)

was "I'm Down," which in my opinion caused the original 1965 NE blackout. Because I played it over and over on the free Rockola in the Student Bldg.

I'm not sure if this "technically" qualifies but:

Was the B-side to this:

And Don't be cruel was the "B-side" to "Hound Dog"

Both were released on the same date and depending on what "A-side" you purchased it listed that song above the "B-side"

Don't see why they shouldn't qualify. Lots of 45s ended up with hits on both sides.

There's a separate category, Beatles records that were great on both sides.

Until the fairly recent re-releases, you could only get this on the back of your Immigrant Song 45:
