(23,196 posts)Don't they stab one another to death in a fight in the apartment?
I love this movie, "Into The Night." Even the score is great, written by Tommy Newman and featuring B.B. King.
Michelle Pfeiffer has some great lines:
"I know men." (Said with a suggestive look.)
"The police can't help us. I'm one of the bad guys."
We watched the videotape (!) a few weeks ago. It's still a fun film. The Elvis impersonation is hysterical.
The funniest bit in the movie, for me, is that John Landis, the film's director, plays one of the Irani hit-men (Keystone Kops!) and has himself killed at the end of the story.

(23,196 posts)The fight happens at about the 3:30 minute mark.
I love the horror film playing in the background!
Thanks for the morning smiles, Mr. Scorpio!

You don't name a knife after a guy who doesn't win knife fights.
Case closed.
Game over, man.

(18,960 posts)My favorite Perkins story of all time came via Johnny Cash, when they were touring in the 50s.
It's no secret that Johnny was a fan of little white pills to circumvent sleep. Carl was no stranger to them either.
But one morning he, Perkins and the other band members in the station wagon woke up in a ditch, sort of standing up at an angle. The #1 question in the car was "how did we get here?"
