crack on top of laptop

no crack on the screen itself but on the back, should I just use something like electrical tape to keep this from getting worse, this is too old to put a lot of money into and I can live with tape on the back

2. i cracked my 2006 i-mac's puter + used it for 6 more years, i did get a growing blob, but it still

worked. no tape.

3. Shouldn't be a problem

If you want to do something, just clean the crack area well with an alcohol pad, let dry, then run a little bit of superglue over the crack. That should prevent any increase in the crack.
