I will not post his name but this is what he said about the new, transparent polls:

"There's no good reason that poll threads shouldn't involve a secret ballot. The effect of making it possible to find out the names of the poll voters and what position they voted for can only have the effect of creating a chilling effect and reducing the participation in polls, as far as I can see. "
