Seeing as how someone founded one of the biggest universities in the USA with my family name in the first half of the 19th century, I guess mine wouldn't vary too much. Never mind that some/most/all (records are lost) of my ancestors in the country in those days were deadbeat Mississippi riverboat gamblers who fled to the northeast to escape their debts!
