Digital camera question

I have a Kodak Easy Share that's about 10 years old, last used it a few weeks ago. Yesterday it wouldn't turn on, so I put in new lithium batteries. Still won't work.

Is anyone here familiar with that camera? Any ideas on how to proceed to get it working?

Thanks!

following that, perhaps doing a google search for ideas. At 10 years old it's probably not worth taking in for repairs. That said, it is a good time of year (Easter to Father's Day) for buying a camera so it might be time to look around for a new one.

internal operating system, and various counters. Search for the manual to determine if there is one, and if so, how to replace the battery. By the way, 10 years is about right for it to die.

A friend on Flickr has been posting some great shots lately with her old Kodak Easyshare that she said had been sitting for years in a closet. To this day I use Kodak Easyshare software for my Canon G15, & prefer it to Light Room & the other photo apps.
