3. A friend on Twitter came across it

I put most of their CDs up until about 2000 onto a single data CD and have been doing a random playlist on it for the last couple of weeks in re-listening to a huge chunk of their catalog.

Moving Pictures was my intro to it all but 2112 has that special place. As does the Trees song from Atmospheres I think it was.

5. Hemispheres. Rush doesn't have an lp nnamed Atmospheres.

This video made the round on Cygnusx1, and Rushisaband recently. Very entertaining.

I've not been listening to music at all the last couple of years after a bad breakup and only just started trying by reconnecting with Rush since it's not all a bunch of love ballads.

8. 1979? I saw the Rush Hemispheres concert

I think it was 1979.....

A green leafy substance was involved....

I do have the picture disc album though.

One of my favorites is "Barracuda" which features the girls from Peanuts!

Another is "Wipeout" with Snoopy surfing:

Such a brilliant album, musically, lyrically, hell in every way.

But 2112 is only second to what I consider their masterpiece, Hemispheres.
