Must be concert week for me
Tuesday I went down to Tampa to see Behemoth and Watain...Ybor City is a fun couple blocks to see a show
then today my wife texts me all depressed because her friend told her today she got tickets to see (sold out) Tom Petty tonight in Orlando
so I get on StubHub and got us a couple tix too. Not as good as her rich friend's seats but hey, we've seen him about 8 times already anyway so anywhere in the house is good for us. Even got the tix at $10 under face value...
First time I've ever used stubhub...smooth process and the fees weren't as outrageous as some fees I've paid in the past.
Never heard of the opening act - Regina Spektor? Last time we saw Tom Petty his opening act was Steve Winwood which I considered a major score. Nothing personal against Regina but I think she's a bit of a downgrade.
Oh well, she might turn out to be fabulous! I'm torn between looking her up on the youtoobs or letting her be a total surprise....we'll see how long my willpower lasts...on christmas they stopped putting presents out early because I sneak looks. Whether it's for me or not.
