Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney, star of The Vampire Diaries, have ended their relationship, reports Us Weekly.

According to a source, the pair are now "on a break" due to their hectic shedules, with Gaga set to embark on a 110-show tour while also recording her new album. "There's just no room for anything else," the source said of Gaga's workload. "Her work is all-consuming."

The insider also told Us that it wasn't likely Gaga and Kinney's relationship would last: "Taylor was all about himself, a typical actor, and didn't completely get Gaga."

The source added another possible reason for the split: &quot Gaga) loved that she got this guy who everyone thought was hot! But it was never going to last."
