So my dad died on Memorial Day. Fitting because he was a WWII Vet.

He was 93. And it was a arduous struggle taking care of everything for him. But he lived a full life. The last two years were tough. But he had a great send off. Possibly, as good as he would have planned.

Thanks for asking. I used to joke that every day was Father's Day because I had to do something for him every day. Phone calls, making arrangements, cancelling his internet, etc. etc. Now I only have to pay his condo Assoc. fee and his utility bill once a month. And I don't have to worry about getting a crazy phone call from him at 3:30 in the morning.

My Dad died @ 99, also a WWII Vet, not on Memorial Day, some other plain old day 6 years ago, quietly, with family around him. True members of the Greatest Generation.
