He was 93. And it was a arduous struggle taking care of everything for him. But he lived a full life. The last two years were tough. But he had a great send off. Possibly, as good as he would have planned.

(27,228 posts)Thanks for asking. I used to joke that every day was Father's Day because I had to do something for him every day. Phone calls, making arrangements, cancelling his internet, etc. etc. Now I only have to pay his condo Assoc. fee and his utility bill once a month. And I don't have to worry about getting a crazy phone call from him at 3:30 in the morning.
