The number-crunchers in admin want to move us to a clinic that has gotten NO foot traffic.

Seriously, they want to move our homeless clinic from a location six blocks from the homeless shelter, to a location that is far removed from the centers of the homeless population.

I'm going to have a little chat with the admin stooge whose idea this is, and give him a piece of my mind. The sheer nerve; If he wants to crunch some numbers, how about the number of patient we saw on a daily basis when we were cooling our heels at that location a year ago? We would see two to three patients a day, because none of our homeless patients could make the drive, take a bus, or freaking walk the distance to get there!

Change for change's sake. What a crock. If this shit keeps up, I'm resigning.

How's that for a reason to abandon 10-15 patients per day?...

Our previous clinic manager could best a three-toed sloth for inertia, but at least he understood the importance of location.

We don't have to Feng Shui the hell out of the place; we just need to be able to practice clinic medicine. And we do, very well, in fact.

I totally get your concerns. On a side note I admire your use of stooge, three-toed sloth and feng shui.

Peace
