1. I was at the vet clinic with my dog when it was obvious we were assigned to the reptile exam room

There were no snakes in there at the time, but there were lots of photos and books.

3. I would have been out in the parking lot. No way would I have been in that room.

4. Well, they must have been busy and that was the only room available

Not that I mind reptiles particularly, though I previously had both a mouse and a rat as a pet. I took my dog there, but it's a pretty cool clinic. I know they do wildlife rescue there, I was once in the waiting room when a guy came to pick up some baby squirrels who had been nursed back to health. And the other vet there also specializes in birds, her license plate reads BIRDDR.
