I had hundreds of images on Shutterpoint and they did disappear! No one knows how it happened. Or so they say..........

4. Not to be that guy, but

this is why you should always maintain two separate backup systems. For example, an online backup and dvds or a usb drive.

Online storage is great, but to some extent you are at the mercy of somebody else. There were plenty of people using Megaupload in a legal fashion that got hosed when that service was shut down.

11. I'm glad you got it back, MFM.

I don't know if my account was affected or not because I was gone all day, but I see that I'd better back it up with a dvd. I think I have around 800 pictures, & I know how long it takes to find the keepers.

I'm not happy with the new editing system! The previous system was a lot easier to use & it had a lot more fonts.
