If it was your week, you didn't even have to be in the same county where the screw up happened; it was still your fault. It was a running joke that even the boss/owner went along with. So, when you were doing extra work to compensate for someone else's fuck up, you knew that soon it'd be your turn to laugh.
Edit: This didn't apply to very serious screw ups though.
