What a great name for a female horse! And it proved to be perfectly appropriate as she excelled in a sport dominated by the males.

btw - If you haven't seen the movie Ruffian you have missed the best racehorse film ever. The race scenes are shot using angles and camera work that I've never seen before. Wonderful story about a great athlete...Ruffian.
