Papershells are larger, but they were originally the same nuts as the Illinois nuts.

I don't know if they taste any different.

Papershells probably require a longer growing season.

- everywhere from Maryland to Florida out to Texas and back and several states in between.

And I have no idea how to say it right. I think mostly I say PEE kahn. But I'll throw a p'KAHN out there and even a PEE can depending how the rest of the sentence flows. Or maybe depending on whom I'm speaking with (with whom I am speaking?)

It's kinda funny that even though I lived in the south all my life, every single time we moved (and I never went to the same elementary school 2 years in a row and we usually moved during the school year instead of summer for some dumb reason) the locals everywhere thought I had a funny accent.

I don't think I have any accent although I can mimic a fair few of them.

lol, I just watched the video so now at least I have an excuse for not knowing and even changing.

I have a friend and his mom is from Germany. From the get-go everybody knew she had a german accent. My friend never noticed it!! I've lived in Florida most of my life but when I get mad New York just falls out of my mouth.

She's a speech pathologist. (She was raised in TX)

She can also speak Spanish fluently with the proper accent.

From Georgia.

They're Puh-Kahns. Said quickly. Had pecan trees as a child - picked them up to earn money. We undersold the grocery stores and made a killing.

Pee cans are homemade toilets when nothing else is available. Used especially when traveling with children.

I don't do piss can pie.

I can make a bad ass pecan pie. Ignore all the recipes you find all over and just go with the recipe on the bottle of dark corn syrup (Karo). Use dark corn syrup and white sugar.

I can make buttermilk pecan pralines (that's pe-CAHN PRAY-leens) too and they are to die for.
