That catcher is my son, and look at him! He's 7, and most kids that play catcher for coach-pitch baseball just kneel there like a lump on a log. But Sam thinks he's Jorge Posada or something!

I mean, I understand why the kids don't like being catcher...


"Hey, kid, an adult 5 times your age and 4 times your weight is going to hurl a hard heavy object at your head. Here's a hot, heavy helmet and a hot, heavy chest pad. Now don't move!"



But Sam actually fielded the ball and would have gotten two kids out in that inning.... if he had managed to keep the ball in his hand while performing the tag.



Okay, back to your regularly scheduled Saturday activities. I'm off to go see "The Avengers" in IMAX 3D.
