He was 51 years old

In 2018, Tom Cruise is starring in Mission Impossible 6 at 56 years old.

(saw the meme on Facebook and checked the numbers this morning.

People age differently. It is a combination of genetics, lifestyle and luck. Yes, Tom Cruise still looks pretty good but he has always been an attractive man. It is not like Wilford Brimley was a heart throb that lost his looks. There are many attractive people who aged terribly and many average looking people who aged well.

Personally, I prefer Simon Pegg to Tom Cruise.

However, he's still alive at age 83, so even with his obesity and diabetes, he's defying the odds.
