(6,881 posts)I first saw Apocalypse Now when it came out in the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. They had this 6 channel stereo sound system. so that, when the Huey helicopters flew over, it felt like they were flying from behind you through the theater, right over your head. Totally total.
That must have been ( I hate to use the word) "awesome!"
