Only met a few in real life. Always lap dogs - no matter how big - love the lap.

(9,527 posts)We lined the fence, inside and out with rocks, logs and barbwire. It slowed him down. It wasn't until the portly boy tore his second ACL that he stopped.
Once my parents were walking him and his brother off-leash at the same time in a new place. They took off. The brother ended up sitting on the road waiting to be rescued. My dog scavenged for 10 days. Before somebody found him stealing their dogs' food.
Usually he would make sure to be home in time for dinner as he really liked to eat.
