anybody having trouble with YouTube.

First, none of the videos would open on DU posts.

Got this message where the video should have played.

"www.youtube.com unexpectedly closed the connection".

So I tried going straight to YouTube and got this message:

This site can’t be reached
www.youtube.com unexpectedly closed the connection.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED

I have no trouble connecting to other sites.

2. Without knowing the video, hard to say.

My guess is that it was copyrighted material, or Youtube closed the account? Or the owner pulled the video. Or it contained a virus & your AV program shut it down immediately.

I just checked on one video, and it was fine. But it wasn't the video you're referring to, since I don't know it.

3. My problem: poor uniformity of volume, even with external speakers on laptop
