I freaked out a house wren one time by playing a bird call cd of a wren call from my laptop out in the yard near the nest box. He was going insane trying to find out where the "other wren" in HIS territory was. He ultimately took to dive-bombing the laptop, which was the source of the sound. It was interesting to watch, I learned quite a bit about wren territoriality and threat displays in about 5 minutes.
