Ladies and gentlemen, I hereby present to you......Flushin' Frenzy (The Game)!

Saw this commercial this morning while my kid was watching Nickelodeon. It was before the coffee kicked in so at first I assumed it was some sort of groggy hallucination.

And yet....Flushin' Frenzy is real. Very real indeed.

And sure, games and toys centered around the scatological are hardly a new thing. Baby dolls that you feed with water and who subsequently wet themselves have been around for ages, just as an example.

And yet, I feel I must commend the creators of Flushin' Frenzy for going the extra mile. Not willing to sell out by substituting a turd for some sort of euphemistic stand-in (a ball, perhaps), they have managed to create a piece of excrement that--while anthropomorphic qualities notwithstanding--remains fairly realistic in its appearance.

And with that, an important lesson is imparted to your children--It is indeed okay to play with your own shit.

But while much of the attention gravitates towards the poop itself, we should not neglect the qualities of the "plunger" that is an integral part to the game. Namely, the....err...manual manipulation of said plunger.

I feel I must commend those who created Flushin' Frenzy for truly capturing the zeitgeist of this current day and age. This game is who we are as a people and a human race here in 2018. Of that, I am sure.

Bravo. Bravo indeed.
