Ohio Lingo Quiz

Me: Way to go on ACING this quiz! There’s no doubt about it, you’re an Ohio local, a true Buckeye! Probably even a lifelong native. You know all of this state’s amazing unique slang, as well as weekend and food traditions, like chili on spaghetti, pop, and eating delicious peanut butter and chocolate buckeyes. Keep on repping your Ohio pride! Way to go!

O-H-I-O! You are a true Ohioan and it shows through your knowledge of Ohio Slang! Go crack open some pop and relax, and let someone else do the 'warshing,' because you deserve a congratulatory break!

some of those are clearly from long after i left, but i still get the buckeye logic

i was a kid, i was bored, lol.

there's really nothing in it for me to see one team wipe out the other 70-3.

buckeye fans really have no sense of humor, lol!

My dad, who grew up in Chicago, said "warsh," and the wood at the bottom of the window was the "window seel." In 1959, we ended up in Rochester, NY, where he lived for the rest of his life (52 years), and he always pronounced it Rock-chester.

....I had a few boyfriends over the years who were either born there, or lived there for an extended period. So I picked up a little knowledge about the state. At one point I wanted to attend Ohio State. But that never got off the ground.

Born and raised there but left when I was 35. Rest of my family still lives there. My roots go back to Cleveland a long time ago.
