Essentially, powdered sugar, flour, lots of butter, and pecans (I prefer walnuts). Rolled in powdered sugar when they come hot out of the oven.

(29,805 posts)...from Scotland is the best there is. Ive tried other brands, and they have all fallen short. I fell in love with Walkers during my first trip to Edinburgh in 1974, and have been a fan ever since.

(23,763 posts)Basically peanut butter cookie with melted chocolate chips to which you add a bit of peppermint extract.
Marble the chocolate into the peanut butter cookie dough roll in balls and press down with a sugared glass.
Absolutely killer.

Make up the dough shape into logs wrap well and freeze them.
When ready to bake, let them thaw for a bit, slice them and bake them.

Damn good dough.

Thin Mints
Manischewitz (sp?) chocolate macaroons
edited to add: Tim-Tams. They are from Australia. I used to work for an Australian company and if anyone traveled to Sydney or visited from there, we would tell them that we would not let them in the building without a couple packages. They always obliged. Think of a KitKat candy bar in cookie form. You can get them at Target and well worth looking for on your next trip there.
