Perhaps the penultimate comfort food. If you could figure out a way to get dumplings into a chicken pot pie, you may not be able to handle the bliss...although I'd like to try.

3. My mother made that. Sunday dinner was usually chicken and dumplings. The leftovers were mixed with

the leftover vegetables and chicken gravy, put in the extra pie crust she always made and we had Monday’s dinner! 🥧😋

10. You could've had my dumplings. I used to dig them out and give them to my sister. I love dumplings,

but my mother’s were plain nasty. Whoever coined the phrase “gut bomb” must’ve been thinking of mom’s dumplings!
