It would show: April 10--get married. Summer--go with new wife to Croatia. Winter--prepare to move from Massachusetts to Texas.

Then as now--most days, I usually didn't know where I'd be 48 hours later.

I didn't keep a calendar, and I can't imagine having it now if I had kept it, and I certainly wouldn't have put down "party on Aylesford, keg provided".

Can you imagine what a pack-rat someone would have to be to keep a calendar from 1982? Cleaning out their basement or garage would be HELL! We cleaned out our garage recently, and had cleaned it out two years ago when we moved house, and that was bad enough.

I remember it like yesterday. I spent that summer reviewing and cataloging my calendars from 1973-1981.

Dumb mistake. Returned to the kibbutz. I'm wiser in affairs of the heart now.

work-related tasks and appointments. I did not attend any keg parties but I wouldn't have put them in my calendar if I had. And I didn't keep it for 36 years.

Mine states that I was giving birth, giving baby her first bottle, changing first diaper, taking baby to first doctor visit.

I was definitely not going to rapey parties.

Okay, it's not my calendar, but my daughter's. She was born in June and we kept a calendar of all baby-related events.
