Well I've put up my first post in GD for years

I’ve been away from DU for two years but I’m not looking for reassurance. I was not posting about GD, but how I was feeling.

Posting in the more serious groups can be intimidating after hanging mostly in the lounge. At least it was for me.

I’m a veteran DU’er but I’ve been out of the game for two years. I’ve had some great times here, but yes, there was something intimidating about posting in GD again - when the subject matter is important. This is such a critical time, I would like to be informative - to be of some use. Before twitter, this was the place we came to get the inside story, things that were useful for activists, like ‘Know your BFEE’ (Bush Family Evil Empire). I’d like to think things posted at DU still matter.
