It is officially autumn: had to break out the robe and slippers this evening.

No more lounging around the house in shorts and a tee.

Ah, my favorite time of year. I woke up this morning to a world shrouded in fog. Lovely...

...4 inches of snow.

I watched a college soccer game this Saturday, in Naperville IL, and about 2/3 of the way into the first half, a major snow squall blew thru out of nowhere. It was snowing sideways, and the wind was roaring so loud that I was afraid a twister was going to show up.

Cool overnight= fleece mornings, which turned into nicely warm mid-70's day, and now is dipping cool again this late evening.

We know winter is here when we have to stay in fleece and flannel all day.
