I like the fact that these barriers are lightweight and nesting, so they would be easy to store when not needed.
They set up quickly in an emergency too.

from a flooding creek or river. It's just going to go around the barrier before it goes over the top. The product website points out that it is for use in urban environments with a flat hard surface. Might work around subway entrances or doorways if the water level stays below 20 inches.
