Twilight the cat is licking the leaves on a lilac. There is no water on them. Should I worry?

Is this poisonous? Is she so desperate for a little bit of the outdoors that I should harness her up and take her outside for a walk right away?

She hasn't been outdoors in 4 years. She usually sits by the screened window but it has been too applegrove May 2012 #3
