Most of Queen's best songs, like this one, are those that never got a lot of radio air-play. Can you imagine any radio station in America playing this when it came out in '76?

Stellar song by an incredible band that was far ahead of it's time...

(268 posts)But for some reason, this song never really clicked with me. I always liked Freddie's songs more than Roger's or Brian's, and this one didn't fit in on that album. Imo.
I did like how the chords from this song were used in the opening of "Tie Your Mother Down", but I'm more of a music than lyrics guy, and when the album came out, I was 14, and had no idea what the song was about.

(1,622 posts)...For example, I always thought "The Prophet's Song" was more of a masterpiece both musically and production-wise than "Bohemian Rhapsody".
