I finally saw a Law and Order that I hadn't already seen....

Was it the one where there was a crime, and the cops came and investigated, a bunch of pithy comments were made, and then they turned it over to the D.A.'s office, and one of the deputy D.A.s had a real hard time with prosecuting that kind of crime because of personal feelings or involvement, and there was a tricky question of law that they resolved in the nick of time to nail that guy?

3. Was that one of the short lived ones, like Law and Order: Special Traffic Unit?
