Dude with much coin.

In line today behind a guy who paid for ten dollars in goods with entire pocket full of change. Not even many quarters.

Lest you think it was a poverty issue, he walked out of the store and climbed into a $50,000 truck.

Maybe the payment caused him to break his piggy bank.

I have been pricing trucks lately. In the past, I have owned 2 full sized pickups, and one smaller truck.

Talk about sticker shock?

Some of these new trucks are more than my mortgage.

I think I paid $200 bucks for it.

After a few more beaters, I bought a brand new Toyota in the early 80's for $7,500. I was just out of college making $13,600/yr.

Then, 2 full sized F150's. I cannot remember what I paid, but I'm thinking maybe high teens?

Saw a GMC the other day on the lot for $60,000.

on Rt 80 coming out of NYC while driving.

It is my crowning achievement.

No rest stops for miles, and you are putting your life in danger by pulling over.

I have never counted out ten dollars worth, but maybe he was cleaning out something that was full of change.
