I've decided that I no longer like binge-watching

I am an avid binge watcher and always suffer an almost depressive state when I watch an entire season and NOW I HAVE WAIT A WHOLE F-ING YEAR TO WATCH MORE

I did it with Ozark last year, and with Sneaky Pete, and with Bosch and I just did it again with Mrs Maisel..

1. As much TV as I watch I don't know if I'm a binge watcher

I don't have the TV on as much since we switched to Apple TV. We watch something every night but sitting and watching the same show hours on end is too much for me.

to get introduced to the characters and basic story line, skip to the middle, then to the last couple of episodes

The writers put a lot of filler, and seem to drag things on longer then necessary

It makes it so much nicer for me, especially if the ending is disappointing

I've been trying not to start any series unless they are done.

Delayed gratification.

right after the finale. I managed to avoid most spoilers, it turned out to be the best series I have ever seen..I cannot believe how underrated it was. I am happy finally the award shows have given it the recognition, it has deserved all along.

6 episode seasons. Each season is based on a book, so, it doesn't really leave you hanging. 2 seasons up on Netflix with 1 more to come.

9. I'm not sure what constitutes binge watching.

Is it watching all episodes of a series in one sitting? Or watching episodes on consecutive days until you've watched them all?

I can maybe do 2-3 episodes in one night, but then may not watch additional episodes for a couple of days. But I won't watch any other series in between. So I don't think I qualify as a bona fide binge watcher.
