Hi everyone. I couldn't find an Introduction sub-category, but then got an e-mail... But I did post this, which says a lot about me

I love music, movies, comedy. Obviously, I'm a political person. I last worked for Bernie Sanders, but have also participated in strikes and protests in US (birthplace) and in Australia, Thailand, Greece, Hungary, etc.. I love traveling, spent almost 25% of my adult life backpacking (Europe-5x, Australia-2x, Asia for a month, and many trips around N. America) trying to learn as much as I can about people and places. But also as a musician and author, it's great to be able to play music, despite not knowing more than a few words. Speaking which, I love language, too.

(32,717 posts)I, too, am a fan of Mort Sahl and have been for many years.
[From Wikipedia]
"Sahl works every Thursday night with his take-no-prisoners approach, taking questions from the live audience and from Periscope/Twitter."
[He streams Thursdays at 7 PM PST on Periscope and Twitter]
Speaking of Mort Sahl, I just found this video on his Twitter page:
"Live From The Crescendo Room of The Throckmorton Theatre: MORT SAHL"

(55 posts)We'll definitely have to talk! It was almost impossible to find a fan, so I went to Mill Valley and saw (and met) him 4 times.
I never miss a show, and I love every album he's done, maybe with the exception of the Watergate one, but I sensed a change with "Anyway, Onward" - I miss the rapid fire. In "Heartland" when he worked Vegas, Bob Hope told him to cut the "fat" (asides, digressions, etc), which was the best part.
