a broken wire and big honking bird nest on the neighbor's property two miles away!
got my dial-up back and boy, does NO connection make you appreciate even 24Kbps! 
it almost got blown off for another couple of days because a gate the repair guy needed to get into was locked and I couldn't get the people on the phone, but he went over to their house and they were home after all, whew.
all this going on 2 miles away from my house, it is almost never anything down here. I know they need to trim a big tree up there again too. I suppose we should just go cut it down ourselves. 
want to know how addicted to DU I am? I was at the library for a little while yesterday and when it was time to leave, I loaded three or 4 pages of hugh! threads from meta to read when I got home last night.
