from DU....and, for that matter, the Internet in general, as I may not be able to afford the subscription. I lost my job in June, 2010. Since than, I was able to land one temp position, in April, 2011, that lasted for 5 weeks.
In late January, I decided the only way I was going to be able to make any money at all was to take an offer of a contracted 1099 commission only sales job. I have made no commissions yet, since each time I get close to closing, something gets in the way to postpone the deal.
My unemployment benefits ended on April 7, with no more extensions available, so I have now been almost 6 weeks with no income at all.
I doubt my mortgage company will like hearing..."Oh, but I'm getting closer to being able to pay you...soon!"
I currently have $30.68 in my checking account, and $72.00 in my wallet.
If my closing does not go through on Friday - and there is a problem at the moment - I don't know how I will pay my June 1 mortgage payment, never mind gas for the car, etc.
If I have to sign off for a while, I will really miss all of you. I will try my damnedest to get back as soon as I can.......
Please keep some good thoughts that I am able to improve my financial situation very soon...this is very, very scary as well as embarrassing........

Almost all of them offer free unlimited wi-fi if you have a laptop -- as do many bookstores (at least
the INCREDIBLE indie bookstores we have here in Tucson (Bookman's). Soft, comfy overstuffed living
room furniture to luxuriate in, too.
