30. Postcard campaign to save the Vaquita Porpoise (only 12 left)!!! NEEDS YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION!

Forgive the thread highjack please. It is an act of total desperation, I know this thread gets a lot of views by animal lovers.

I wish there was a way to shout, scream, cry, beg, to give this maximum exposure. There are only about 12 vaquita left in the world. They live in the upper Gulf of California and this is not a sub-species or a separate population. They may go extinct soon. The vaquita only became known to the wider world in the 1970's. They are a beautiful small porpoise. Captive breeding is not an options as porpoises do not fare well in captivity. You'll notice that aquariums hold dolphins, but not porpoises.

Do you want to look back and remember doing nothing as the species goes extinct?

Save the whales would like the postcards returned to them by January 29. Please pass to friends, family, school groups, coffee shops, neighbors, pets, strangers, not-so-strangers, loved-ones, exes, in-laws, out-laws, PLEASE PASS ALONG.

Thank you for your interest in engaging in the vaquita postcard drive. We have until the end of this month to collect all the postcards and or letters that will be delivered to the Mexican Embassy in bulk. The postcards are not being mailed but delivered to the embassy for more impact.

The easiest think to do would be to have you take the info on the below postcard and write it out in a letter. You can add your own unique message to this.
Be sure to include your full name, age, zip code (like we have on the post card).

Please mail your letter to Save The Whales in order to arrive by the end of January 2019 and I will include your letter with the postcards and artwork from students.
