Anyone watching women's skating on NBC Sports station???

Love figure skating.......a tiny 13 year old could be winning this thing....short program tonight long program tomorrow on NBC network.

Edited to add: I'm a little confused about the new scoring system, though. The 5.whatever was so much easier.

3. A 13-year-old can't go to Olympics FYI....at least not from the US

Not sure when they're coming up next, but there was a rule change a few years back. You have to be 15 and a half to go to the Olympics. So Tara Lipinkski will forever be the youngest US figure skating Olympic champion.

The change was because too many young kids were being pushed to do extreme and repetitive jumps early, and there were too many injuries. Good rule, protecting kids, but sucks for the occasional prodigy who has to wait a couple more years for a chance at the Olympics.
