Donna Summer thought her cancer was caused by 9/11..

I attended a funeral of a child last week, who died from lung cancer....his parents also non-smokers lived close to site of 9/11
He was an only child, needless to say they were devastated...
I know the source is TMZ, but...Donna Summer was also a non-smoker...I do wonder what the overall stats are tied to 9/11

I guess she didn't smoke. I thought I heard reports that she did.

I saw an old clip of her last night and she was holding a cigarette (could've been a joint).




That report says she was a smoker.

And, we're told, after Donna was diagnosed with lung cancer, several people told her that cigarette smoke may have been the culprit -- she was a smoker, and she also frequented clubs where people smoked. But Donna simply didn't buy it.
