How much time do you spend on the web in your job?

Do you have the type of job that allows you to browse the web while work is slow? If so, how long do you browse the web during a typical workday?

Mostly I check the web through the day off my phone. maybe an hour total over the course of the day. At night I may be online a bit more- depends if there is anything good on TV.

We sometimes have a lot of down time. An hour or two a day sometimes.

But I don't work a typical 9-5 and some of the browsing I do is work related in a way.

But when I was working, I was on the Web quite a bit. Some of it was work related because I worked copy-editing hunting and fishing magazine, and I had to visit DNR and wildlife sites for info.

Our computers at work are more or less firewalled to anything on the net that's not work related. Even if we could find a roundabout way to get fully online, it would be stupid since we must log on and it would be easy to trace activity.

I can live without surfing the web for 8 or 9 hours.

I usually have 2 browsers up and at least 5 tabs per browser....not just surfing though, I need to look for news stories, and research etc.
