What do you think is a good hourly price for an art tutor for my almost-7 year old?

I have looked around and tutors of all kind seem to go for $35 - $50 an hour.

We have (thanks to an email to the VCU school of Art Education) a rising junior who would like to tutor our girl.
Mom was a fashion major with an art minor and Josie CLEARLY gets it from her. I draw stick figures that don't actually look like stick figures.

We are probably looking at once or twice a week.

Thoughts?

I would think that one-on-one tutoring would be unnecessarily costly without being much better than small group, since the young artists need to work solo for more of the time, with intermittent input.

In any event, $35 - $50 an hour sounds about right for the tutor's time, but if you could have 3 or 4 kids together you might save money or be able to afford more sessions.
