Now see, when I'm out drinking with my parrot and zebra, I always make sure the zebra stays sober 'cause only an idiot would let a parrot drive. They can't reach the pedals. Besides, parrots are notorious for not being able to hold their liquor.
Reiter also disputes the drunk driving charge, saying he realized he was too drunk to drive, and was about to let a passenger his parrot take the wheel when he was arrested.
