Winter is not done with the Denver area quite yet.

Drove home from a work-related class this evening in the blinding snow. I live in Lafayette and the class was clear out in Aurora, so we're talking 35 miles. It's supposed to continue on and off all night. I have the class all week and tomorrow morning is going to be a mess, too. Oh well, we need the moisture.

Glad u made it home safely. Careful tomorrow.

Was going to plant last weekend, but my wife held me to the Not Before Mother's Day tradition.

The plane was late getting in from Paris and even later going back out. I missed my connection to Düsseldorf by 20 minutes and had to wait two and a half hours in Paris for the next one. My luggage wouldn't have made it in any case. So, I didn't get home until 5:00 PM Sunday, and had to be up 12 hours later to run over to Brussels.

Apparently, I was lucky all the same. I found out later that 700 flights from and to Chicago had been canceled that day due to the storm.
