Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI'd like to share a song with you
Literally chokes me up every time I listen to it...but then again, I've been to four funerals in as many months, and have had some good friends move away on me.
No matter. This song absolutely rules. It's called Jo'rneyman's Song, by a band called Barleyjuice.

Oh Deary O'Leary will y'dance with me slow
And sing me a song of the pagans you know
How you toast to the moon till you're suitably fed
For you are the spirit that goes to my head
Sing away hey a Jo'rneyman's Song
Tonight I will drink to you all ev'ning long
And I'll drink to the company all that we keep
Drink to the sun and the stars and the deep
And the prospect to meet up in future reprise
Occasion to gaze in your beautiful eyes
Sing away hey a Jo'rneyman's Song
Tonight I will drink to you all ev'ning long
For tomorrow we laugh and tomorrow we cry
Tomorrow we dance and tomorrow we die
And tomorrow you will be my yesterday song
And I would die richer for having you known
Sing away hey a Jo'rneyman's Song
Tonight I will drink to you all ev'ning long
Ye must welcome the phantoms that scream through the night
Tak' heed to the visions and presences bright
Lest ye waste up your life with the weight of street
In fear of the banshees ye'd happen to meet
Sing away hey a Jo'rneyman's Song
Tonight I will drink to you all ev'ning long
Oh Deary O'Leary what more can be said?
For you have the forest and I have my bed
And you call from the trees on your gossamer wings
Sayin' never again shall we speak of such things
Sing away hey a Jo'rneyman's Song
Tonight I will drink to you all ev'ning long
So let's drink to the company all that we keep
Drink to the sun and the stars and the deep
And the prospect to meet up in future reprise
Occasion to gaze in your beautiful eyes
Sing away hey a Jo'rneyman's Song
Tonight I will drink to you all ev'ning long.

what is not to like there...And the Irish seem to know and understand that well...it is in a lot of their music and poetry.
