Megan's manicure.

I guess she thought of everything, including the fact that her nails would be visible in photos of her holding baby Archie.

The online guess for the color? "Ballet Slippers." who among us has not had the thrill of that nonshade of nail lacquer?

Now in my late 70s I say the hell with it! I go for the brightest I can get and try to keep my nails chip free (my mother always told me it looked "cheap&quot .

Today is manicure day. Hooray! I'll find a nice, bright shade!

but it is unlikely we'll see anything too dramatic.

On the other hand, we aren't royalty, so I say GO FOR IT!

However, for a pedicure I go all out with colors like dark blue. It makes me happy to have pretty colors on my toes.

I like to try a different shade every time I get a pedicure. I don't get pedicures that often but it is a nice treat every now and then.

They call attention to your nails and away from the wrinkled skin on your hands.
