doesn't rate, unless "best" means "best misogynistic teenage fantasy" writer.

John LeCarré wrote one of my favorite novels, but he's hardly a great writer.

With all due respect, they might have as readily put Alistair MacLean in there.

Making heirarchical lists would be my #1 thing not to do.
